Magistrate orders repairs, permits and fines in multiple St. Cloud code cases

The Saint Cloud special magistrate issued several orders across multiple routine enforcement cases on Jan. 16, setting deadlines and daily fines if property owners fail to comply.

At 2278 Jessica Lane (case 2025‑635), code officer Pam Neal presented repeated inspections that found pool water in an unsanitary condition over multiple visits. The magistrate found the owner in violation, ordered the pool water to be cleaned and clear by Jan. 30, 2026, and assessed administrative costs of $346.78 due within seven days; if the pool is not brought into compliance by that date a $250‑per‑day fine will begin to accrue.

In a separate case at 1451 Kingston Way (case 2025‑9901), inspectors documented two inoperable vehicles with flat tires and expired tags and found no active landlord business tax receipt for the rental. The magistrate ordered the landlord license and permit for rental activity to be obtained by Jan. 30, 2026, and ordered the vehicles to be made operable or removed by that date. The magistrate split potential fines into $200/day for the licensure violation and $50/day for the vehicle violation; administrative costs of roughly $315 will be assessed.

Both matters were resolved through magistrate orders with near‑term compliance deadlines and prospective daily penalties for noncompliance. The magistrate closed the session and scheduled the next hearing for Feb. 18, 2026.
