Board ratifies multiple service agreements and developer-fee reports

The Cypress School District board approved consent calendar items and ratified agreements including behavioral/IEE services, Pacific Symphony's Class Act program, OCDE teacher-induction MOU, a Stepping Stones speech-pathologist addendum, a deferred maintenance contract, developer-fee reports and a Koppel & Gruber study.
At the Nov. 13 meeting the Cypress School District board approved the consent calendar and then ratified a series of agreements and reports.
Items approved included an agreement for behavioral, emotional and academic mentoring and independent educational evaluation services; a Pacific Symphony "Class Act" program for the 2025–26 school year at Juliet Morris Elementary; a memorandum of understanding with the Orange County Department of Education for teacher induction; an assignment confirmation addendum with Stepping Stones Group LLC for a temporary speech-language pathologist; and a contracting decision with M & P South for the 2025–26 deferred maintenance project.
The board also approved the district’s annual and five-year developer fee reports for fiscal year 24–25 and contracted with Koppel & Gruber Public Finance to prepare a developer-fee justification study.
All of these items were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote as part of the consent and action items. Trustees thanked staff and community partners for bringing programs and services that support student needs and extracurricular programming to district schools.
