Morrison County to set public hearing on revised cannabis event rules
Health & Human Services Director Nathan Bertram asked the Morrison County Board of Commissioners to revise Section 4 of the county's cannabis event ordinance to match Office of Cannabis Management procedures; the board directed staff to schedule a public hearing, tentatively Feb. 10 with Feb. 24 as backup.

Nathan Bertram, Morrison County health and human services director, told the board the county must adjust its cannabis event ordinance "as we get guidance from OCM" so local permitting aligns with the state process. Bertram said the proposed edits move registration earlier in the process for temporary cannabis events and add explicit submission requirements for event materials.
