Board approves two state historical-marker resolutions

Staff told the board the markers would be funded by the state historical-marker commission and would not cost the county. The resolutions were introduced as a recognition of the citizens' contributions and staff said the family and community requested the markers.
The board approved the resolutions by voice/roll call and the chair instructed staff to proceed with the state process for placement.
