On second reading, the City Commission adopted the supplemental appropriation ordinance (Ordinance 22 76-30-248) totaling $4,281,000. Finance director Paul Ann Curry summarized the ordinance, saying there were no changes since first reading and that the majority of the supplemental appropriation funded a solid-waste project that flowed into 2025 as well as several street and road projects that rolled over.
A commissioner moved to approve the ordinance and another seconded the motion; a roll-call vote followed and commissioners answered 'Aye,' adopting the ordinance. The finance director and staff will carry forward the supplemental amounts per the ordinance.
