During the Jan. 21 public comment period, Duane Wheatley said he had lived in Scott County two years and called for commissioners and council members to "leave your egos at the door" and act professionally. He criticized past spending, including satellite trash sites and renovations, questioned the use of a nine-year dormant TIF district, and asked why public speakers were placed at the end of agendas.
