Speaker 1, an unidentified speaker, told the meeting the county's planned improvements at the Lake Carolina intersection will require the acquisition of about "17 to 20 properties" and that design work is about 60% complete. "We're looking at acquiring 17 to 20 properties," Speaker 1 said.
