County OKs $27,998 amendment to Outback Strong agreement for overdose prevention
Klamath County Public Health and community partner Outback Strong will extend an overdose prevention agreement through June 30, 2026, with $27,998 added for the period; the board approved the amendment and authorized the department head to sign.

Jessica Dale of Klamath County Public Health asked the board to approve Amendment No. 1 to the county’s agreement with Outback Strong, a community mental health program providing overdose-prevention services since December 2024. The amendment extends the agreement through the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2026) and adds $27,998 in funding from the health promotion subdepartment.
