The Kane County Planning and Zoning Commission voted June 11 to recommend that the county commission approve ordinance 2025-13, which revises the phrasing in the county’s land-use ordinance governing planned unit developments (PUDs) to remove an inconsistent reference to a 'hearing' and replace it with 'public meeting.'
