COSAC hears project update; some federal NRCS funding on hold
Staff told COSAC that certain projects (for example, Furman and Harris properties) are on hold because some NRCS funding pools are frozen; other smaller program funds remain active and staff will monitor status.

At the end of the March 3 meeting, Cache County staff updated the Open Space Advisory Committee on project status and federal funding. Staff said they had not yet seen other applicant projects funded and that some NRCS funds are currently on hold, naming the Furman and Harris projects as examples placed on hold pending the funding situation.
