Mayfield council adopts 0.1% RAP tax after voter approval

The Mayfield Town Council voted Dec. 10 to adopt Ordinance 2025-6, formally enacting Proposition 10, a local sales-and-use tax of one-tenth of 1% to fund recreation, arts, parks and cultural programs. Council members said the tax implements the measure voters approved in the Nov. 4 election.
