The Iowa Senate adjourned by voice vote until Monday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. after a short session made up largely of ceremonial remarks and announcements, including introductions of Eagle Scouts, a Physician Assistants day, a county supervisors' lunch shuttle, a volunteer firefighter chili cook-off and visiting culinary guests.
