The presiding officer of the Iowa Senate announced the referral of three Senate files to standing committees during a brief session opening. Senate File 2140 and Senate File 2148 were referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and Senate File 2141 was referred to the Committee on Appropriations. The chair said these referrals were made pursuant to rule 38.
