Allen council approves routine consent items, pulls two for separate consideration

Mayor Bainell Brooks asked to pull items 5.6 (security/access controls) and 5.9 (fitness equipment) for separate presentation. An unidentified council member moved to approve the remaining consent items; the motion carried and the rest of the consent agenda was adopted.
The approved items include multiple grant-authorizing resolutions and contract awards that will proceed under staff procurement processes. The pulled items were presented and voted on separately later in the meeting.
