Lyon County gives first reading to resolution backing regional energy corridor

Tim Thomas, who identified himself as representing the Nimrod Regional Energy Agency, told the Lyon County fiscal court that the agency seeks local endorsements for a proposed Penrod (PREA) Energy Corridor, a roughly 53‑mile, minimum 16‑inch natural gas pipeline intended to serve industrial customers and to attract new heavy industry.
