Davis County appoints Scott Park as interim controller

Park told the commission he has been a Davis County resident for more than 20 years and has previously worked in a similar role in Weber County. "I've been a Davis County resident for over 20 years," Park said, and added he was eager to begin, noting the short turnaround and that he would start full time the following Monday.
County leaders thanked Park and welcomed him; staff and commissioners said they look forward to working with him through the upcoming budget season. The minutes show a motion to appoint, a second, and an affirmative voice vote; the appointment fills the current term through the next election cycle in 2026.
