Committee backs three‑year fireworks contract, cites larger America250 programming

The Committee of the Whole recommended that the village board authorize a professional services agreement with Meand Inc., doing business as Mad Bomber Fireworks, to produce pyromusical fireworks shows under RFP 25‑065. The contract terms presented a cost of $120,000 in 2026, $105,000 in 2027 and additional amounts in 2028 for a three‑year total not to exceed $340,000, with an option to extend two additional years at $108,000 per year for 2029 and 2030 and an overall maximum of $546,000.
