Morgan County board outlines REDI-funded drainage work to divert flows from cemetery

The drainage board described engineering changes funded by a REDI grant to reroute watershed flows away from Artesian Avenue toward a cemetery storage ditch, with bids advertised and construction expected to begin after an April award and localized work largely complete by July.

Unidentified Speaker 3, a board member, said county engineers redesigned a REDI-funded drainage project to prevent runoff from entering the cemetery ditch and to improve storage behind Artesian Avenue.
