After a brief recess for committee meetings on Feb. 4, the Senate clerk reported procedural updates to the floor: the Rules Committee posted Senate Bills 5, 12 and 73 to the regular orders for Feb. 5, 2026, and the Committee on Committees referred bills to standing committees, including referral of bills to Economic Development, Tourism and Labor and to Education and State and Local Government.
