The center’s representative, Stephanie, thanked the village and outlined services offered free to participants, including counseling, wellness and fitness programs, nutrition and body-image support, and fundraising events such as a spring gala, golf outing in August, a June Walk of Hope and a Pinkaboo walk in October.
Stephanie invited residents to volunteer or attend fundraisers and directed listeners to cancersupportcenter.org for event listings and ways to get involved. The proclamation cited the center’s founding in 1992 and noted three decades of community service.
