Applicant withdraws variance request for 1015 Carla Court; commission accepts withdrawal 4–0
On Feb. 5 the Columbia County Planning Commission accepted a staff-supported request to withdraw a variance to reduce the setback at 1015 Carla Court after a neighboring objection; the motion to accept withdrawal passed 4–0.

Dylan, a planning staff member, presented a variance request for 1015 Carla Court in the Grimaud Farms subdivision during the Feb. 5 Columbia County Planning Commission meeting and said the applicant requested a reduced setback from a rear lot line. "The original request with this was to reduce the setback along the lot line ... the proposed shop being only 10 feet from that lot line," Dylan said, explaining the district’s rear‑lot requirement is 25 feet.
