Star council accepts certified election canvass from Ada and Canyon counties

Shelley told the council that the certified information was included in the meeting packet and had been received from both counties. Council members asked clarifying questions about terms used in the canvass: 'overvote' (voters marking too many choices) and 'undervote' (omitting a choice) before moving to accept the canvass.
A motion by Councilwoman Solverson to accept the Ada and Canyon County canvass was seconded and approved by roll-call vote. The council recorded the acceptance and moved on to subsequent agenda items.
