Transportation Committee advances multiple bills in executive session

The motions were made by vice chairs and passed by voice votes; where amendments were offered they were adopted and then rolled into substitutes before advancement.
A procedural motion by Senator King to waive the five-day notice to hear bills on the day's agenda (SJM 8016 and SB 6230) passed without objection, allowing the committee to consider those items during the hearing portion of the meeting.
The committee scheduled additional executive work for Monday at 4:00 p.m., with an amendment deadline set for Sunday at noon and amendment publication at 7 p.m.
