Planning Commission recommends approvals for multiple plats, variances, conditional uses and temporary authorizations

At its meeting the Planning Commission reviewed a slate of preliminary plats, rezoning/variance requests, conditional‑use applications and temporary‑use authorizations and recommended action to move several items forward to the Board of Commissioners or to approve with local conditions.

Preliminary plats and subdivisions: The commission recommended approval of the preliminary plat for Greenpoint Phase 3 (35 single‑family lots, sidewalks, street trees and 5.47 acres of open space that includes an existing cemetery). It also recommended approval for the Marshall Mills preliminary plat (11 larger lots) and heard a staff recommendation to approve a revised Cedar Veil preliminary plat (revising the plan from 44 to 40 lots and providing 8.28 acres of open space and required buffers).
