Commissioners debate prosecutor representing Metro Parks for $1 amid conflict concerns

Commissioners discussed a proposed agreement to allow the Trumbull County prosecutor's office to provide legal services to the Metro Parks for a nominal fee (historically $1). Bill Bienzo of the prosecutor's office explained the arrangement had been used for several years and is permitted "by statute," and said charging $1 helped the parks avoid outside legal fees because the Metro Parks budget is limited.
