Commissioners moved to ratify the statement and the motion passed by voice vote. Several commissioners noted satisfaction with internal candidates and the county’s ability to promote from within; the board indicated it will review abbreviated CVs and conduct interviews on the scheduled date.
Staff will post the finalist notice and follow the public‑appointment timetable required by county practice.
