Noble County commissioners approved a personnel pay correction to address a small disparity between two corporals.
Staff reported that a recent posting of salaries revealed Corporal Trevor Boder listed at $26.56 per hour and Corporal Brad Shook at $26.32 per hour, a 24-cent difference. Speaker 4 requested that Shook's pay be increased to match Boder going forward; Speaker 3 moved and the board seconded and approved the change. The adjustment was described as effective going forward and not retroactive.
Commissioners said the intent is to correct an apparent error and to apply the change prospectively. Staff will implement the new pay rate in the payroll system and confirmed the change will not be applied retroactively.
