At its Dec. 8 meeting the Weston Plan Commission denied a developer request to deviate from the code requirement that local streets include sidewalks on both sides. The request concerned the 87‑lot Granite Ridge subdivision (off Old Costa Lane), where the developer proposed to install sidewalks and drive aprons on one side and provide money for the village to build sidewalks elsewhere in the future.
