The committee recommended Senate Bill 15‑05, a $7 million appropriation for a pilot military transitional housing grant program administered by the Arizona Department of Housing. The program would prioritize veteran‑owned and veteran‑led nonprofit organizations to construct transitional, supportive and affordable housing for veterans separating from military service, and would allow collaboration with state agencies to provide wraparound services and on‑site outpatient care.
