Xcel Energy briefed the Meeker County Board of Commissioners on the Minnesota Energy Connection project, saying a draft environmental impact statement will be published in about three weeks and administrative‑law‑judge hearings are planned in October and November, including sessions in Litchfield. The company said written comments on the draft EIS will be accepted through November 25.
