Dr. Slater proposed an administrative conference for instructional supervisors, principals and assistant principals focused on the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) process. She said the conference aims to build a districtwide structure so administrators can align school improvement work around four critical questions: what students should know and be able to do, how the district knows when they know it, what to do when students know it, and what to do when they do not.
