Clay County signs commitment to statewide pre-hospital whole-blood program
The board authorized a letter committing Clay County Fire Rescue to participate in a statewide pre-hospital whole-blood transfusion pilot. Fire Chief Lauren Mach said start-up equipment and rotation arrangements would likely cost about $50,000 and staffing/rotation agreements with a blood bank are required.
