Cache County Council approves Powder Mountain rezone after months of debate

After extended questioning and public concern about access, affordability and services, the Cache County Council approved an ordinance rezoning roughly the areas proposed by Powder Mountain to an R‑R resort-recreation zone. Council members said the rezoning begins the master‑plan review process and does not itself approve specific developments.
