The board then honored John Benoit for 21 years as the executive director of the county LAFCO, citing his work on boundary changes, municipal service reviews and planning. Benoit and fellow officials thanked county partners and reflected on his tenure.
Finally, the board issued a proclamation for Fire Chief Rich Dickinson for his leadership during December winter‑storm response and Cosgrove Creek operations. Chief Dickinson recounted multiagency coordination during evacuations and praised sustained partnerships among fire, law enforcement and county staff. Each proclamation was adopted by unanimous voice vote.
