Elections official says county implemented recommendations; governor’s letter praises progress

Ryan, a representative of the Cash County elections office, reported to the council that a follow-up review of recent municipal election procedures found the office had implemented every recommendation from an earlier report. “I am happy to report that they have met or exceeded every single 1 of those recommendations in that report,” Ryan said, and he read a letter from the governor praising the county’s improvements and urging continued training.
