Prince George County accepted a DCJS school resource officer (SRO) grant award and approved related appropriations on Nov. 25. The grant totals $300,000 for calendar year funding that spans two fiscal years; staff requested appropriation of $115,185 for the current fiscal year and a transfer from general fund contingency to cover the county match portion.
