Councillors voted to confirm Deborah Proctor as a commissioner of the Cherokee Nation Election Commission after Proctor introduced herself and described a long career in nursing and community service. Councillor Hall introduced the resolution and it received a second from Councillor McGaty; the chair called for a voice vote and declared the motion passed.
