Henderson council renews UT EMS contract after CHRISTUS CEO urges RFP
The City of Henderson voted to renew its contract with UT EMS after hearing a public comment from Sean Salter, CEO of CHRISTUS CMS and CHRISTUS Flight for Life, who asked the council to pursue an RFP and said CHRISTUS could offer more services and greater transparency in response‑time reporting.

Sean Salter, chief executive officer of CHRISTUS CMS and CHRISTUS Flight for Life, used the public‑comment period to urge the City of Henderson to seek competitive proposals before extending its emergency medical services contract. "I shared the interest that CHRISTUS CMS has in being considered as your next provider of EMS service," Salter told the council, adding, "I believe that CHRISTUS is in a great position, to offer the city more services and more resources than what you're currently receiving."
