County accepts $489,800 CMAQ award for University Parks Trail bridge
Lucas County accepted $489,800 in CMAQ funds for a bridge over 10 Mile Creek to close the University Parks Trail gap; Metroparks Toledo will provide the 20% local match and project timing shifted into the 2030 state budget window.

Ben Pushka told the board Lucas County was awarded $489,800 in Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds to support installation of a bridge crossing on the University Parks Trail, closing the remaining 10 Mile Creek gap between Silica Road and Centennial Road. CMAQ requires a 20% local match; Metroparks Toledo will provide that match.
