Senate OKs administrative changes to workforce education oversight board; proposed public dashboard amendment withdrawn
Substitute Senate Bill 5,931, which makes administrative changes to the Workforce Education Investment Accountability and Oversight Board, was passed after the sponsor said the bill has no fiscal impact. An amendment to reinstate a public-facing data dashboard was offered and withdrawn for lack of funding; final passage was reported on the floor with 47 ayes.
