House panel advances Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact after technical amendment

The Committee on House Health and Human Services heard proponent testimony and adopted a technical amendment before passing HB 2533, which would enact the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact to give occupational therapists and assistants interstate practice privileges; fiscal note lists $65,500 and one FTE and the bill would take effect 07/01/2026 upon publication and threshold membership.
