Bryan County approves water, road and facility contracts, task orders and grant applications

Water and mega‑site infrastructure: The board approved Amendment 1 to Thomas & Hutton Task Order #82 in the amount of $2,239,107.50 to extend surface water and reclaimed main infrastructure to the mega site and surrounding area. Staff said the amendment responds to a Georgia Environmental Protection Division permit condition and that ARPA funds will be used for the engineering portion; Bryan County’s work will extend to the county line, with Effingham County responsible for design on their side. The action was approved by motion and voice vote.
