Local parents press Central CUSD 301 for school tennis program, cite USTA grant

Marla Roach told the Central CUSD 301 Board that roughly 200 taxpayers signed a petition supporting a tennis program at the district and that nearly 40% of survey respondents believed Central already offered tennis. She said the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) has a grant of up to $200,000 to assist with construction and support, including vendor connections, architectural renderings, bid review, and operational tools.
