Board adopts Truckee Fire Protection District 2024 Community Wildfire Protection Plan

The Nevada County Board of Supervisors voted to adopt the Truckee Fire Protection District 2024 Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) and to circulate it as an annex to the county CWPP. County Office of Emergency Services Director Craig Griesbach and senior analyst Alex Kibble Toole described the CWPP as a data-driven roadmap identifying strategic areas, resources and assets (SARAs) and prioritizing fuels-reduction and community-protection projects.
