County and University continue interlocal discussion for Extension services, agree to delay transition
The board and University of Nebraska Extension representatives discussed three interlocal options for staffing and budgeting. University staff said university employees require uniform pay/benefits and the university would bill actual costs quarterly. Supervisors agreed to remain at status quo through the current fiscal year and to revisit a transition and budget details before July 1.
