Ferguson Board to Revisit Resolution on Safe, Stable Housing for Renters After Public Comment

Representatives from Central PA United and residents urged Ferguson Township’s supervisors to adopt a resolution promoting safe and stable housing for renters at the May 6 meeting; the board voted to bring the proposed resolution back for discussion at a future meeting.

Supervisors generally supported returning the item for fuller consideration and asked staff to evaluate costs and legal implications—particularly items such as tenant counsel or programmatic support that could carry budgetary implications. One supervisor moved that the board bring the resolution back for discussion; the motion passed by voice vote.
