At the start of the session the House Committee on Emergency Management and Veterans handled several procedural items. LPRO staff summarized HB 4,099 as creating a task force on responding to veterans in crisis and reported minimal fiscal impact. Vice Chair Lewis moved HB 4,099 to the floor with a due pass recommendation and asked that the subsequent referral to the Joint Committee on Ways and Means be rescinded.
