Nye County delays MOU with Homeland Security/ICE after public concerns
An MOU to allow certain Nye County Sheriff's Office employees to receive DHS/ICE designations was rescheduled to Aug. 20 after public speakers and some commissioners raised constitutional and local‑control concerns and requested the sheriff and additional legal review be present.
