The Nye County Board of County Commissioners on Sept. 4 adopted Nye County Bill No. 2024-07, approving a development agreement between the county and Longshot Space Technology Corporation to build a high-speed hypersonic aerospace test facility near Tonopah. The board approved the measure following a presentation by Planning Director Brett Wagner and public comment from the applicant.
