Yuba County approves PACE scheduling software for sheriff's office

Brandon Spear from the sheriff's office told the board the software will enhance workforce management by automating scheduling, improving staffing compliance, reducing administrative workload, providing real-time data for decision-making, and offering technical support and cybersecurity updates.
The board received the presentation, had no substantive objections on the record, and approved the agreement by roll-call vote. Staff said the purchase includes software installation, user training and ongoing support to ensure implementation.
The software purchase was presented as an operational investment to improve scheduling efficiency and maintain compliance with staffing requirements.
